America is FINALLY about to build the housing we need

U.S. Senator Tina Smith (D-MN) took to the Senate floor to celebrate passage of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, the largest housing supply bill to move through Congress in nearly 30 years. Smith highlighted how the bipartisan legislation will help build more homes, preserve affordable housing, and lower barriers to housing development. She also emphasized the inclusion of her bipartisan Rural Housing Service Reform Act with Senator Mike Rounds (R-SD), which will help preserve nearly 400,000 affordable rental homes in rural communities across the country. "Without a safe, stable, affordable place to call home, nothing in life works," Smith said.
